Ecoshop, unique and in Cardigan

chock-a-shop of variety

A place to linger, buy, talk, read

Open 10 - 4
In the Pwllhai area of Cardigan, between High st and Bus stops.

People bring things to leave to sell, getting 70% of the takings.

The Ecoshop is in aid ofTeifi Forest Garden, a public fruit paradise on the way to St.Dogmaels, opposite Glebelands organic veg market garden.
It is there to provide not only recycling and green products but plenty of inspiration and information.
Donated  and sale and return items welcome.

It is the range that suprises, along with the layout which is flamboyant, beautiful, inviting.

You get the techie end, hand-made woodstoves, rocket and recycled, the fancy insulants and nature paints, a sample solar panel or heat throwing convector motor.

At an opposite end you find second-hand clothes, hippie, theatrical or mundane, and in a further corner of this multi-faceted labarynth, mystic remedies in little pots, or the wellie rack, outdoor hand-made furniture, then its suddenly chocolate and munchie bars from beaming natives and you're into the salubrious reading from Resurgence to Radical roots, Growers and dreamers, Greenpeace and government invites to grants and consultations.

Tired? you get tea at the satin-draped table. Children discover toys on lower shelves behind book-cases so they dont get in the way.

Call in, or be one of the volunteers if you feel like meeting and chatting.
